The Peterborough Sailing Club (PSC) has been a part of the Kawartha community for over thirty years. Located on Clear Lake, 2.8 kilometres north of Young’s Point, on the Clear Lake Road, the Club is easily accessible by cottagers and residents of Peterborough.

The PSC has offered adult sailing lessons for many years in a variety of formats. This year we will be offering a 3-week series ( two lessons per week ) of introductory sailing lessons. Participants will quickly learn the basic information necessary to be comfortable handling a sailboat. The lessons will be conducted by Peterborough Sailing Club member-volunteers who are all experienced sailors. Not only will participants learn the basics of sailing, and gain confidence with boat handling but will also establish friendships and camaraderie with other club members.

Students will spend 15 hours in the classroom and on the water. The PSC will provide sailboats (Albacores and Lasers) for student use or, if you prefer, you may use your own boat. Course enrollment is limited to ensure that everyone will receive individualized instruction. So get your application in early to ensure your spot.
